Description

Lortab 5-325 mg is a prescription medication containing two active drugs: Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. The formulation combines 5 mg of the opioid analgesic, Hydrocodone, with 325 mg of the non-opioid pain reliever, Acetaminophen. It is mainly used for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. Lortab is commonly administered postoperatively and post-trauma or chronic pain conditions.

Lortab or G035 white pill, this medicine is used to treat those people who are experiencing moderate to acute pain. That pain cannot be treated by normal medicine. The maximum daily dose for an adult is not more than 6 tablets. You can take them every 4-6 hours.

Mechanism of Action

Hydrocodone: The drug acts on opioid receptors in the brain to modify perception and the emotional response to pain.

Acetaminophen: This ingredient is an antipyretic and also gives some pain relief through varied action mechanisms in the brain.
